Tactical Agility: Operational Energy Enabling Concept for Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations

Abstract

A Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) can gain tactical agility while conducting EABO through a distributed operational energy approach using a hydrogen based energy generation and delivery system. This military opportunity can result in three subsequent advantages in addition to gaining tactical agility: reduced maintenance requirements, improved operational endurance, and reduced battlefield signature.
