Abstract

The effects of climate-induced environmental stress contribute to security challenges; the current Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment process does not account for these relationships. The increasingly complex nature of the modern operational environment requires viewing the traditional analytical framework from an alternative perspective to improve the effectiveness of the operational approach.
