A NATO Smart Strategy for the Black Sea Region

Abstract

Due to the lack of consensus between its members, NATO should react to the Russian aggressive revisionist strategy by increasing the presence in the region from a tailored forward presence to a smart forward presence. This smart presence should be the foundation for a future NATO strong forward posture in the region.
