Managing Talent in the Marine Corps: A Precursor for the Inevitable

Abstract

To truly achieve the Commandants goal of transforming USMC talent management to retain quality officers, M and RA should review the Army's path to AIM2 and use the Green Pages initiative as a framework for an assignment marketplace for its active-duty officers. The USMC officer assignments system needs a transformation to satisfy talent management requirements and Green Pages provides the blueprint for a USMC officer talent database.
