DOD ACQUISITION: Case Study of the Anny Light Helicopter Program

Abstract

The Army plans the Light Helicopter Family (LIIX) to be a small, Lightweight, affordable aviation system capable of performing missions in the high-threat environment of the 1990s and beyond. The LHX is expected to expand the Army's ability to perform its aviation missions continuously m many types of terrain, weather, and battle environments.
