Cyber in the Single Battle: Integrating Cyber Into the Marine Corps Future

Abstract

As an expeditionary fighting force, the Marine Corps must balance the need to operate in austere conditions while being technologically adaptive and maneuvering rapidly in the cyber and space domains. To do this, the Corps must incorporate cyber considerations in its planning, account for physical and logical aspects of cyber and connecting them to all components of the MAGTF in execution, and leveraging artificial intelligence to reduce sustainment requirements for elaborate information systems and current bandwidth requirements through localized high information processing and knowledge transfer.
