Survey of Techniques for Very High Frequency and Ultra High Frequency Direction Finding
Abstract
The Laboratory was requested to investigate and report on the general problem of vhf and uhf direction finder techniques with specific comments as to pertinent development in radar, counter-measure, receiver design and direction finder fields and possible modification or adaptation of existing equipment in these fields that might be useful in providing vhf and uhf shipboard direction finding facilities.
