Twistless Cable Deployment Device

Abstract

The present invention is a method and apparatus for joining a cable between a fixed component (e.g., an equipment rack) and a rotating component (e.g., a winch). Accordingly, it is a primary object and general purpose of the present invention to provide an apparatus and method that can accommodate winch rotation while remaining connected to a fixed location, such as an equipment rack, without using a slipring or fiber optic rotary joint.
