CEREC Primescan Image Quality Following Multiple Cycles of Dry Heat Sterilization of Primescan Sleeves

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of multiple cycles of dry heat sterilization on the accuracy of CERECPrimescan scans and the aim was to quantify any potential deviations in imaging. Methods. A Nobel Biocare implant was placed in a prefabricated dental arch and a healing abutment with known measurement parameters was scanned using three separate CERECPrimescan sleeves, each divided into separate groups.
