Comparing Current Treatment Modality at an Army Military Treatment Facility for Obstructive Sleep Apnea with an Objective Titration Protocol for Cost Savings Potential

Abstract

Oral appliance therapy (OAT) titration time has the most significant effect on the cost effectiveness of treatment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the mean titration time and clinical effectiveness of OAT at an Army Military Treatment Facility (MTF). A comparison of the results to the literature and to objective titration protocols for potential cost savings analysis.
