Electronically Scanned Panoramic Receiver (5-10c Kilocycles)

Abstract

This report concerns the development and preliminary tests of an electronically scanned sonar panoramic search receiver having a frequency ranges from 5 to 100 kilocycles. Within the range covered, the probability is 100 percent that the receiver will indicate the frequency of any supersonic carrier with a pulse width as short as 3.3 milliseconds and a recurrence rate as low as one cycle per second.
