Electrospun Multifunctional Composite Fibers for Improved Warfighter Insect Protection Interim Report - Year 1
Abstract
We report on progress from the first year of a 3-year program (SERDP WP21-3053) to develop novel insect repellent fibers and fabrics using electrospinning as a rapid prototyping technique to evaluate composite multifunctional fiber designs containing dual environmentally friendly insect repellents (dual combinations of picaridin, DEET, or permethrin) for their controlled delivery.
