Implications of Climate Change for Department of the Air Force Missions and Operations: Insights From RAND Research

Abstract

Science tells us that weather and broader climate trends will look less and less like what we have been used to in the past. The new normal will continually evolve, and it will no longer be possible to predict future trends using historical statistics. Such circumstances will introduce greater uncertainty into decision making.
