Long-term consequences of mothers and fathers wartime deployments

Abstract

The overarching goal of this project is to understand the long-term effects of a mother's deployment on military adolescents using a stratified random sample of 200 deployed mothers, spouses/partners, and two siblings. Combined with the sample of 513 military families from the companion project, funded by the National Institute of Child Health and Development, the data will significantly advance knowledge about the long-term effects of maternal deployment on adolescents.
