DoD Enterprise Test and Evaluation (T and E) of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enabled Systems Strategic Goals

Abstract

This document complements "The Future State of Test and Evaluation of Artificial Intelligence-Enabled Systems in the Department of Defense" by providing a set of strategic goals to achieve this future state. The goals address AI-enabled systems, not including autonomous systems. This document contains the strategic DoD Enterprise Test and Evaluation (T and E) of AI goals and a high level goals timeline developed in June 2022 by a group of DoD T and E of AI SMEs and representatives from: CDAO, USD(R and E)-DTE and A, DOT and E, TRMC, USD(R and E)-CT, AFOTEC, MITRE, IDA, CMU SEI.
