Investigation of Containers for the Shipment and Storage of RH-195

Abstract

Storage under tropical conditions of RH-195 in fiber or steel drums was investigated in an effort to develop a satisfactory container for this material. Fiber drums were found to be unsatisfactory. Five-gallon steel drums coated with a suitable vinyl enamel were found to be satisfactory, provided that the RH-195 was sealed in an inner container made from Saran film, Saran is commercially available and is sufficiently rugged for this purpose.
