Impact of Operational Sleep Disruption on PTSD-Relevant Fear Learning Processes

Abstract

This report covers Year 4 of the project. This project examines the impact of disturbances in normal sleep and circadianregulation on mechanisms underlying vulnerability to, and maintenance of, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The goal ofYear 3 was continued data collection and harmonization with Monash. We proposed to complete 15 participants (60 in totalwith year 1 and 2). Progress was slowed due to difficulty recruiting subjects during staffing shortages.
