MIL-PRF-32662 Context -Aware Agile Platform
Abstract
MIL-PRF-32662 seeks to transition a traditionally static Qualified Products List to a dynamic version using a Context-Aware Agile Platform (CAAP) web-based dashboard. The dashboard was developed in a collaborative effort between the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Army Research Laboratory (ARL) and the Department of Data Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute through a series of student-led Graduate Qualifying Projects. Commercial end-user review was provided by PPG and ASM International. The Adhesive Dashboard allows materials scientists and data scientists to collect, upload, share, analyze, and visualize experimental results for adhesive materials. Users can also view data from other scientists and vendors to search for an adhesive with specific properties that meet their needs. The CAAP dashboard will ultimately ease the burden of the laborious and cumbersome process that scientists and researchers must follow to introduce new adhesives for DoD and commercial solutions. This ARL special report includes a users manual with the steps to use each feature and tool of the platform, as well as software documentation and an installation guide.
