Army Full-Time Support Processes: Considerations for Enhancing Common Understanding,Transparency, and Unity of Purpose

Abstract

Most reserve component (RC) personnel serve on a part-time basis. To provide for day-to-day support to units, each RC also includes a cadre of full-time support (FTS) personnel who are primarily responsible for assisting in the organization, administration, recruitment, instruction, and training support of the RCs (DoDI 1205.18, 2020, p. 3).
