A Study of the Unit Management Program at Providence Memorial Hospital, El Paso, Texas

Abstract

The problem was to determine how the unit management program implemented in August 1972 can best be improved at Providence Memorial Hospital, El Paso, Texas. The objectives of this were: 1. Identify weaknesses in the present organizational structure of the unit management program. 2. Analyze the duties and responsibilities of unit managers and unit clerks. 3. Identify other factors which could promote a more effective unit management program.
