Supercooled Ex-Vivo Porcine VCA Preservation to Extend the Timeline Between Procurement and Transplantation and Enable Tolerance Induction to Eliminate Immunotherapy Needs and Risks

Abstract

The project aims to develop a novel technology to preserve vascular composite allografts for extended periods. This project uses a porcine model. In the second year the focus was on identifying ideal perfusion parameters and initiating transplant studies.
