A Survey of the Development of Mortar Location

Abstract

This report is intended to crystallize the mortar location problems as of the present, correlating the strategic need with the technical possibilities of fulfilling this need. In order to do this thoroughly, most of the report has been concerned with the development of the various methods of mortar locations. It is pointed out that the radar method remains the best approach to the mortar location problem.
