Diesel Outboard Engines

Abstract

Diesel Outboards have been shown to be a viable candidate to allow the Coast Guard to convert to a single fuel, potentially resulting in substantial cost savings. The technology is still relatively new and long term operations are still required to ensure diesel outboards have the same or better reliability as gasoline outboards.
