A New Type of Fixed Echo Canceling Device

Abstract

A repetitive pulse has a frequency spectrum consisting of a Fourier series of spectral lines equal to the pulse repetition frequency and its harmonics. A fixed echo canceling device is described which consists of a series of lumped circuit bridge-T rejection filters tuned progressively to the Fourier components of the pulse out to the 100th harmonic of the repetition frequency.
