Procedure for Building the Coaxial Needle Atomizing System

Abstract

Inhalation research requires the generation of a steady and reproducible concentration of particles in a respirable range. Whenaerosols with highly toxic, precious fluids are generated, it is essential that a minimal amount of material be used to ensure safetyand cost effectiveness. For this reason, a coaxial needle atomizing system was developed, and its construction is described herein.
