Seasonal Ice Zone Reconnaissance Surveys Coordination and Ocean Profiles

Abstract

We proposed an extension and supplementation of the grant for the coordination of and participation in the Seasonal Ice Zone Reconnaissance Surveys (SIZRS) program through 7/31/2021 with anticipation of a new proposal to continue SIZRS operations at some level beyond 2021. In addition to covering the extension of SIZRS field activities and analysis, the supplemental support will cover a portion of the U.S. CLIVAR Workshop on Observing, Modeling, and Understanding the Circulation of the Arctic Ocean and Sub-Arctic Seas to beheld in Seattle in the summer of 2020.
