Telemetry Standards Chapter 4: Pulse Code Modulation Standards

Abstract

Two classes of PCM formats are covered in this chapter: the basic, simpler types are Class I, and the more complex applications are Class II. The use of any Class II technique requires concurrence of the range involved. All formats with characteristics described in these standards are Class I except those identified as Class II.
