Packet Telemetry Downlink; Telemetry Standards, RCC Standard 106-23 Chapter 7

Abstract

This standard defines the method for transporting variable-length, well-defined data formats in a Chapter 4 pulse code modulation (PCM) stream. Packet telemetry defines the method for asynchronously inserting data from one or more data streams into PCM minor frames. This standard defines various source packet (SP) types that are used to encapsulate well-defined data formats.
