The Need for Speed - Maintaining the Information Advantage

Abstract

The U.S. should prioritize the information instrument of national power, and the speed in which it releases information to shape the information environment to align with national security objectives. The immediate dissemination of statements, imagery and video helps the U.S. gain and maintain the information advantage, most notably to own the narrative in strategic competition.
