Bibliography of NRL Formal Reports Numbers 1000 to 3400
Abstract
Approximately 2,400 formal scientific reports have been published and distributed to date by the NRL. These reports, written by some 1,000 scientists during the past 15 years, cover almost all the phases of research undertaken at NRL and include subjects in the fields of research of chemistry, electricity, metallurgy, optics, physics, sound, radio, and radar. It is believed that a formal listing, or bibliography, of these documents will be of great value to the Laboratory, the Office of Naval Research, and to the entire DOD for it is only through the publication of reports that a a research organizations can readily and intelligently disseminate the knowledge gained through its activities.
