Abstract

Underwater noncontact explosives were fired against the USS NIAGARA APA87 to determine: (a) Forces on a foundation generated (during shock) by a flexible body such as a boiler, and (b) failures of shipboard electronic equipment and the effectiveness of shock mounts.
