The Ovarian Cancer Academy 2020-2025: A Data-Driven Learning Community

Abstract

Over the course of this program, the Ovarian Cancer Academy has been dedicated to fulfilling its core mission of providing a comprehensive virtual training program for early-career investigators. This program encompasses a wide range of initiatives that aim to facilitate research progress, promote career development, and foster collaboration among members. These initiatives include: a) providing mentorship and guidance for research projects, b) promoting cooperative research efforts, c) hosting monthly webinars that cover topics such as research progress, career development, leadership training, and team science project planning, d) maintaining the Academy website, e) facilitating connections between Academy members and the advocacy community, f) providing opportunities for networking g) organizing an annual workshop, and h) conducting ongoing program evaluation and data analysis. This progress report showcases the Academy's achievements and the impact of its training program on the broader research community.
