Naval Research Laboratory Annual Technical Report Fiscal Year 1948

Abstract

The mission of the Naval Research Laboratory is to increase the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the Fleet by the application of scientific research and primary, or laboratory, experimentation to Navy problems. The work of the Laboratory embraces scientific activities which are important to present and future naval power and national security.
