An Evaluation of the Planning, Development, and Operation of an Intensive and Coronary Care Unit for Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital, Kerrville, Texas

Abstract

The problem was to evaluate the planning, development, and operation of the Intensive and Coronary Care Unit at Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital, Kerrville, Texas. The methods of research were literature review, interviews, cost analyses, and personal observations of this unit and other similar units. Comparisons were then made. The Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital Intensive and Coronary Care Unit was considered outstanding and compared very favorably with other units.
