A Low-Voltage X-Ray Tube

Abstract

A low-voltage X-ray tube was developed to generate and transmit radiation at wavelengths longer than on angstrom. Operation is possible with target current up to 50 milliamperes and at target from 0 to 12,000 volts, the target dissipation limit being 10 watts.
