The Effects of Stress on Navy Corpsmen's Performance of Tactical Combat Casualty Care Using Immersive High Fidelity Simulation

Abstract

The purpose of this dissertation is to determine the effects of stress on Navy Corpsmen's performance in an immersive high-fidelity Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) simulation. The primary outcome is to determine the association between participants' stress responses and their TCCC performance before, during, and after an immersive high-fidelity simulation to accomplish this purpose.
