2021 Department of Defense Civilian Employee Workplace and Gender Relations Survey: Results and Trends

Abstract

This report contains results and trends from the 2021 Department of Defense Civilian Employee Workplace and Gender Relations Survey (2018 WGRC) conducted from November 15, 2021 through January 24, 2022. The 2021 WGRC is the third assessment of gender relations in the DoD civilian workplace conducted in response to the Congressional mandate outlined in Title 10 USC 481a and it is the second assessment to include nonappropriated funds (NAF) civilian employees. The WGRC continues a line of sexual assault and sexual harassment research in the military dating back to 1988.
