Evaluation of Book-Type Scan Indicator in Radar Parameter Study System

Abstract

A book type scan indicator has been compared with the conventional plan position indicator on the Naval Research Laboratory Radar Parameter Study System. Evaluation tests have been made to determine if an improvement in signal strength detectability could be obtained with this type display.
