Investigation of Intermittent Faults in 30.0-Volt D-C Aircraft Electrical Systems

Abstract

Arcing faults have been demonstrated to cause severe damage to the plane structure under laboratory conditions. Information is needed on the characteristics of these phenomena in order that adequate protection can be devised.
