VVAL-79 Thalmann Algorithm Metric and Imperial Air Decompression Tables

Abstract

VVal-79 Thalmann Algorithm Integrated Air Decompression Tables with dive depths in metric units of meters seawater (msw) and Imperial units of feet seawater (fsw) and with last allowed in-water decompression stops at 3 msw, 6 msw, 10 fsw, and 20 fsw are presented complete with appropriate limit lines in this report. The tables are organized into two sets, one for dive depths in msw and the other dive depths in fsw, with component tables composed and formatted for use and interpretation according to the rules and provisions for their correspondent tables in Chapter 9 of the U.S. Navy Diving Manual, Revision 6. Each decompression table is accompanied by a corresponding table of estimated risks of decompression sickness (DCS) for the tabulated schedules.
