Distinguished Visitors and Significant Events, HQ TRADOC

Abstract

This memorandum establishes policies, responsibilities, and administrative procedures governing significant events and distinguished visitors (DVs) to Headquarters (HQ), United States Army, Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). The proponent of this memorandum is the TRADOC Secretary of the General Staff (SGS). The proponent has the authority to approve exceptions or waivers to this memorandum. Proponent may delegate this approval authority, in writing, to a staff chief or its direct reporting unit or field operating agency, in the grade of colonel or the civilian equivalent. Staff may request a waiver to this memorandum by providing justification that includes a full analysis of the expected benefits and must include formal review by the staffs senior officer. All waiver requests will be endorsed by the senior leader of the requesting staff and forwarded through its chain of command to Chief, SGS (ATCS-XE), 33 Ingalls Road, Fort Monroe, Virginia 23651-1067.
