Disrupting the Chinese Military in Competition and Low-Intensity Conflict: An Analysis of Peoples Liberation Army Missions, Tasks, and Potential Vulnerabilities
Abstract
This report documents research and analysis conducted as part of a project entitled Army Special Operations Roles and Priorities in Competition with China, sponsored by the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). The purpose of the project was to identify and prioritize potential contributions of Army special operations forces to efforts to impose costs, create dilemmas, and affect adversarial decision-making to advance U.S. influence and erode adversary influence during competition and in key contingencies involving China.
