Abstract

The technical objectives of this project are listed below: Identify, construct and optimize novel biosynthetic routes towards benzylamine. Employ strain engineering techniques to improve strain performance and/or eliminate unwanted activities in E. coli. Utilize Halomonas as a novel production host with improved fermentative properties.
