Advanced Quantum Sensing

Abstract

Over the past year, we have been continuing to work toward demonstrating an SNR improvement with our multipass system. Our current implementation allows for an SNR improvement by a factor of 2.5, potentially improvable to around 3. We have also worked to perform a proof-of-principle demonstration of the quantum Zeno effect, based on spatial mode filtering.
