Refugee Psychology and its Potential for Refugee Radicalization
Abstract
The current refugee problem: As defined by the United Nations High Commission on Refugees, refugees are people who fled their country of origin for reasons of feared persecution, conflict, generalized violence, or other circumstances that have seriously disturbed public order and, as a result, require international protection. The number of refugee has escalated,more than doubling within the past decade, and the migration of refugees has the potential to increase instability in the countries where they seek refuge.
