What Is Interoperability? Interoperability is the ability to act together coherently, effectively, and efficiently to achieve tactical, operational, and strategic objectives. It leverages partner capabilities and fills capability gaps. It enables access to locations and additional forces (to lead or support partner missions). It reduces costs. It facilitates strategic messaging.
