Hot Air Decontamination Landscape Survey Summary Report, Version 1.0

Abstract

Hot Air and Humidity was surveyed as a Decontamination Method of interest following patient transport or vehicle exposure. This landscape survey is focused around biological pathogens of interest (bacterial, viral and fungal). For each class of organism, factors such as temperature, humidity, time to decontamination, and the extent of decontamination were collected and analyzed. Dese data points were collected into a sortable file for downstream processing, but findings are presented here. This landscape survey is further intended to provide information to aid in building a downstream predictive decontamination model for emerging pathogens.
