Secure Communications and Embedded Systems Laboratory at California State University, Fresno

Abstract

In an effort to improve science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education at California State University, Fresno (Fresno State), by incorporating the missing field of secure communications, software defined radios, cryptography and research, we requested funding that was provided by the department of defense (DOD) to purchase vital equipment that will help to advance STEM education at Fresno State and give our students the hands-on skills and research experience to be successful in competitive careers. The developed new laboratory will be used for conducting undergraduate and graduate research, in addition to complementing existing/new courses through providing state-of-art hands-on training facilities for our students.
