Magnetic Thick Films for Integrated Microwave Devices

Abstract

The University of Florida was awarded a grant (administered by Army Research Office) funded over three phases in response to a proposal submitted to the DARPA/MTO Magnetic Miniaturized and Monolithically Integrated Components (M3IC) program in Technical Area 1A:Integration. The work plan was organized in three thrusts: (1) self-biased microwave ferrite thick-films on semiconductor substrates, (2) integration of permanent magnet bias magnets on semiconductor substrates, and (3) integrated microwave magnetic components on semiconductor substrates.
