Health Watch - July 2021
Abstract
The IDA Health Watch is a quarterly publication which seeks to cover key issues to the Military Health System in order to elevate the IDA brand and increase sponsor visibility in the important area of military health care. Recurring topics will include a senior leadership interview, legislative round up, policy report, and research summary. The publication will be distributed through the IDA website, IDA social media channels, and through email blasts to past and potential sponsors. This premiere issue of the IDA Health Watch quarterly newsletter includes an interview with Dr. Terry Adirim, Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs; developments in TRICARE benefits for military reservists; highlights of research on COVID-19 and health equity; and legislative developments involving the military health system and veterans.
